hi,

i plan to change my music library software (year 2009) because i have issue with my large library (40000 album/folder so almost 40000 tracks with 39000 artists).

can perfectunes handle such quantity of music files & folders/sub folders ?

is there a partial/selectable folder option to not update all folders in the same time ? i'd like to update my library database by group of folders

does perfectunes use the windows system date to detect whitch file need to be update to library of folder date ?

i plan to purchase it mainly (90%) to find duplicate in my library

if there a list of all duplicate find situation that perfectunes can find ?

by example

tete = tété (accent problem)
c''est beau = c"est beau (double single quote = double quote)
tete est beau = tete est beau (single space and multiple space)
til it hurts = 'til it hurts (escape the first lead punctuations symbol)
is it good = is it good?? (escape last trail punctuation symbol)

option to search duplicate in id3tag1 and id3tagsv2 ...

another question :
my old software have a old DB system (.mdb MS access DBS drivers), when i query the DB to display the duplicate it take 30s on a pretty quick computer (cpu i7 at 3Ghz 12thread).

is perfectunes dbs engine better than MS access ? is it mysql or other modern Bd drivers ?
The more duplicate cases it handles, the more the SQL query will be important, the more indexes and data, the base will be "browsed..."

Our program lists all the duplicates on one page for them to be worked through. With that many tracks it will take a long time to fingerprint the audio initially.
