Not Finding Duplicates

I cleared the databases in PerfTunes and re-ran de-dup, which found no duplicates. I know there are many dupes as FLAC and MP3 files. I am looking at one pair in Finder, both in the same sub-folder of my music library. One is the FLAC version and one is the MP3 version.

I know there are many many more; I want to find and get rid of the MP3s. What am I doing wrong?

Has it ever found a duplicate?

The files have to sonically sound similar, based on the length also, if the mp3 came from a different version of audio than the flac then it could be not detected.
