Hi.
I have recently been working on converting and tagging audio sourced from my Blu-ray media and noticed a tag called WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE_CHANNEL_MASK in all my FLAC files.
Looking into this, it appears to be a mapping for the number of channels. The value in my FLAC files is 0x0003, which corresponds to Stereo (for reference, 0x60F corresponds to 5.1).
All my files are sourced with two channel LPCM, and MediaInfo shows the correct L and R channel at least.
Just wondered if anyone has come across this tag before, and do I actually need it still considered I am using Stereo?
Thanks.
