Arbitrary Disc Numbers being added to Album name in PerfectTUNES 3.0 macOS

I noticed recently some of my albums are showing up with arbitrary disc numbers in the title even though this is not in the metadata of the files themselves. This seems to be limited to the Artwork view.

I have screen shots but can't seem to get forum to take them at moment.

    Thanks,
    Carlin Smith

Perhaps upload to a photosite sharing site such as https://imgbb.com/ and share the link?

Album Art on the setting page, ensure the option 'Separate multi disc albums' is unchecked.

              Hi Spoon,

That option is unchecked. For each album I see only one entry in PerfectTUNES just some have disc number appended. I cleared cached and did a complete re-scan and the issue has persisted.

I am happy to provide a link to a single album with two discs where this is happening. I built two virtual machines with nothing installed but Windows 10 in one and macOS 11.2.3 in another. Fresh install of PT 3.3 on Win10 and PT3.0 on macOS.

If checkbox to separate multi-disc albums is selected both operate identically.

If checkbox is unchecked PT3.3 on Win10 shows one album with correct album name while PT3.0 on macOS also shows one album but with Disc2 appended to name.

What is odd is it isn't consistent. In my library there are some where it is correct and some where it is not.

                    Fixed in new beta-
This is an incremental update addressing minor issues in Release 3. Current version: beta 7 Download: https://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/PT-R31b7.dmg Changes since R3: Fixed Album Art tool showing multi-disc albums with nonsensical track numbers. Less blurry images in "listening to albums" dialog. Changes in beta

Basically, disc number was taken from whichever disc of the album made it into the database first. Now it's always ignored if album has tracks with varying disc numbers.

Confirmed everything looks good with the beta.

                      Thanks
