Weird Error in AccurateRip Reporting

Just had an odd one.

One album I ripped with 5 tracks reported as '4 Tracks Accurate, Track 5 Has Errors'.
So I re-ripped track 5 on a different drive, and replaced it in the album.
Re-running AccurateRip told me '4 Tracks Accurate, Track 4 Has Errors'.
I re-ripped track 4.
AccurateRip told me '4 Tracks Accurate, Track 3 Has Errors'.
And so on, until the whole album had been re-ripped, and no errors reported.

Seems AccurateRip can't always make it's mind up.

AccurateRip is constant, your rips are not, f you compared the crcs they would be changing, hence the errors.

No.
AccurateRip told me that tracks 1 to 4 were good, 5 was not.

I ONLY RE-RIPPED track 5, yet all of a sudden AccurateRip told me track 4 was bad, EVEN THOUGH IT HAD NOT CHANGED.

If you rip one track, only the results from that one track should be shown at the end. It could be a bug in the software as far as showing the results, but the audio tracks are untouched, so if previously reported it is Accurate, then it still is.

Which version of dBpoweramp do you have? Windows or Mac.

On this occasion, I was ripping from another machine without dBpoweramp.

I mean that PerfectTUNES checked the album, and reported all tracks as being good except one. After replacing the 'bad' track, it then reported one of the same (non-replaced) tracks as being bad, and so on.

If the other tracks were ripped with an incorrect offset, this can affect the earlier or later tracks also as the drive offset has to be removed (or pressing offset).

Ah, I think I see. So it's better to rip a whole disk on the same drive from an accuracy checking point of view?

In my case, the problem I have been having is that on 'awkward' CDs, some tracks will only read correctly on certain drives and not others, so I end up having to patch results together from different machines.

Yes, or the drives have to be correctly offset adjusted.
