PerfectTUNES "error writing to file" local files, NOT a permissions issue

Hi all... very happy to have found PerfectTUNES as I have a large library of MP3s and it's time to give them all album art.

Windows 11, just downloaded PerfectTUNES, it correctly figures out which of my albums need art, correctly finds great album art, but thinks for a while and then returns "error writing to file" when I select "Fix".

I searched a bit and this error seems to generally be caused by permission issues: files remotely on a NAS, for example, or locally but read-only.

These are local files, and I've confirmed they are all R/W. Tried running PerfectTUNES as admin, no change. Moved the files to a different folder on the same root disk, no change.

Other tagging apps have no issues embedding album art... just don't want to have to do 'em one at a time. Any suggestions welcomed!

Understood, and thanks for your prompt response.

I would note that the website claims that the demo is fully functional, just time-limited:

"Try a no-obligation, free, fully functional 21 day trial"

I get how you're kinda giving away the farm if you let 'er loose for 21 days, however. Perhaps the above wording can be corrected at some point to save future potential customers some time and effort, especially since this program's one job is to write album art.
