Viewing Album Art Is Not Full Size

i've added reasonably large images and their pixel dimensions show correctly, but when viewing them, they're small. dragging their windows larger does not enlarge them. is there a way to view them at their actual sizes?

What size are the images, what size is your screen resolution?

i have 2 monitors. their resolutions are:

• 2056 x 1329
• 3200 x 1800

here are a few of the image sizes i've used as album art:

• 1300 x 1300
• 782 x 800
• 636 x 460
• 847 x 600

no matter which album art i "view", it always opens in a window that's about 900 x 1100.
the album art image is always thumbnail sized within that, anywhere from 360 to 625 'ish.

if i do a "save", the image exports at its original size, so it's not resizing the files, just my view of them.
