De-Dup Indexes every time it launches

Running perfect tunes 2025-06-16 - every time I launch De-Dup it goes through the indexing process, which is currently taking in excess of an hour to go through 30000+ tracks each time. Can't see any reason why it not saving the cache, music is on an external drive, but even it I just close the program and relaunch it straightaway it starts the indexing process again. Am I missing something?

Yes, it indexes and saves the results, something must be off. Which system, Windows or macOS?

Windows 11 Pro

Open Windows File explorer and type:

%appdata%\PerfectTUNES

into the address bar, there should be a whole bunch of files there, and if your library is a good size the size of a file called 'InfPropsNTags' will be 50MB or more.

Look at the file sizes in that folder.
