    find and fix album art

so in the fix option, the program brings up many options of album art that it finds online, one of those choices is the first one and it say existing art. which is indeed the art in the folder, why is it not showing that art and why is there no way to select that art.. what is the actual purpose of the showing the existing art and not allowing you to select it?.
This is a window 11 install in case your asking. the media is all on a nas drive thats mapped to a drive letter. thanks

That page is to choose new art, if you want to take a folder.jpg and embed it in the tags, choose the ... option next to the art on previous page and choose 'import from folder.jpg'

No matfch found in perfectTUNES online database, that is what it is saying. The existing art you have in your computer is not an online match.

I've noticed a problem in fixing album art.

On Windows at least, I'll go and fix album art upgrading the art the regular way. PerfectTUNES says the art has been updated to the new image and resolution, etc.

Yet, when I look at the tags on the individual files they are unchanged.

This only happens on my music collection that's stored on a mapped NAS drive with Windows 11. When I copy the very same files to the local drive the fix works fine.

It is likely your computer does not have write access to the files to update them, that said there should be an error reported in the tag update.
