    Not In Database

I recently checked some rips that I did about two years on a mac using XLD in secure mode with accurate rip.

I noticed that about 25% are returning the error Not in Database.

I re-ripped a couple of disc with dBpoweramp on Windows 8.1 and rechecked them with Perfect Tunes and they showed up in the database.

I stupidly deleted most of the reports from the XLD rips ages ago but I found a couple and they report an accurate rip with no errors.

Are the XLD Rips accurate but have a weird offset or should I re-rip them?

    Many thanks

Because PerfectTUNES has to generate disc IDs and this is hard to do without the CD TOC, if the original rips were without error and verified then they are ok.

        Re: Not In Database

Hi, two of my albums seem to have dropped out of your PerfectTUNES AccurateRip database. I cleared the cache after moving files between drives, and after re-scanning they were suddenly "Not present in AccurateRip." I went ahead and re-ripped them with dBpoweramp, and got good confirmations of a new, accurate rip in dBpoweramp. But when I scan again with PerfectTunes AccurateRip, the two albums are still missing - still shown as "Not present in AccurateRip."

So AccurateRip has a different database between dBpoweramp and PerfectTUNES I guess?

Here are the two albums - maybe you can get them back into the PerfectTUNES AccurateRip database, since they are already good-to-go in the dBpoweramp AccurateRip database. Like I said, I just did a fresh, accurate rip of these two CDs, confirmed in dBpoweramp at the time of the rip, and shown in the metadata as accurate for each individual track.

Install the latest R2 PerfectTUNES and click the 'i' Details button on the Cannot check page, and compare accuraterip disc ids.

Ok, downloaded and reinstalled R2 PerfectTUNES, the accuraterip disc ids match up exactly. It just seems like 2 albums dropped right out of the PerfectTUNES accuraterip database, though they remain in the CD Ripper database.... I previously re-ripped them to try to solve the problem, and CD ripper shows accurate, PerfectTUNES shows "not in accuraterip".

Neither 015-0024bcd5-01a02405-ed0fec0f or 011-001407d6-00a91041-800a980b are in the accuraterip database, just checked, they have never been there as far as I can tell.
