DeDup reporting single tracks as duplicates

    Hi,

I have a library of about 11,000 tracks which contains about 100 known duplicates (i've been de-duping by hand over the last few weeks). Thought I'd run PerfectTUNES over the remaining songs to flush out any that I'd missed, and was a bit perturbed to find it reported 897 duplicates!

When I checked, practically all of the duplicates are for the same track in the same folder. I'd cleared out the cache before I started the process to ensure the whole database was current, and the subsequent "listening" scan took about 6 hours so it must have been doing something.

Overall not the result I was expecting - anyone else had a similar problem?

If you click the tool icon (top right) you can export the list of duplicates, the should be differences in the filename.
