    What means 5.1 wavw type?

    Hi,
I'm not new to DBpoweramp, but new to the several wave types you can choose.
Is it possible to convert an arbitrary mp3 to 5.1 (is this Dolby 5.1 surround?)?
Is any combination feasible? (E.g DVD 24 bits with 96000Hz and 5.1).
I've tried this and get huge wave files that probably have to go on a DVD. But then, how do I create an "audio DVD" with Nero?
Has anyone experienced this? Does it even work?
Hope to hear from somebody soon.

dvd audio is 24bit 48khz (regular video dvd)

DVD-A on the otherhand (audio dvd)... well, very few programs can actually make them, and to my knowledge they arent cheap

i know there is a thread over on hydrogenaudio.org on how to make DVDAs, i suggest giving it a read, maybe all the answers are there
