Convert .MP3 files to .ZVR files?

I want to convert .mp3 & .wav files to .zvr files. Is "dBpowerAMP Music Converter" can do it?

    Many thanks for your help!

Is .zvr an audio format? Why do you need them compressed to .zvr? All I can find regarding .zvr is text compression.

zvr seems to be some kind of text to voice format.

it would take very sofisticated software to take the 'words' out of PCM and turn them into this format

converting from zvr to wav (or mp3 or whatever) is a much easier task, and could be done with dbpoweramp's auxilliary input

(all that from a 10 second google search )

I want to convert .zvr to mp3 or other common format. Is the only way to do this by auxillary input? This would be very slow for 70 hours of sound, wouldn't it?

Yes it would. But your only alternative is to find some other program that might be able to convert .zvr to some more standard format (most likely .wave). dBpowerAMP cannot read .zvr files. You will need to find some program that can. Perhaps the company that makes your voice recorder would have some information about where you might find such a program.

          Best wishes,
          Bill

Sord, I just found this on Google - untried by me, but it looks as if it might do what you want - convert zvr to wav. If that works, then the rest is easy with dMC. http://safa.co.kr/new/eng/customer/d...sid=39&snum=39

Thank you for the link. The program seems to do what I need. It is very simple and will let me turn these files into a set of CDs for playing on my CD player

In that case you don't need to convert them to mp3 either.

                  Hi Sord
I'm glad this worked for you but when I installed it it seems to do nothing. Anyone got any advice?
