    Media player help

Hello, I have wmp and wmc which I normally use, also installed thru my nero software is nero media player which now has taken over when I play and convert to wave. I am not sure how this happened unless I punched the wrong button.

If you can advise on this how do I stop the nero media player and have the wmp back?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Media player help

right-click on one of your WAV files and select "Open With". If that is not a choice, hold Shift when you right-click on the file. Pick the program you want to open the WAV file with, and check "Always use this program" or whatever it says, then click OK. When the program opens and starts playing, you can close it. That should restore your options. If it doesn't, there is a longer way but let's try the easy way first.

Go through the options in WMP and let it play all the file types it can play.
