In installed the dbPowerAmp DirectShow codec, and added the ".ac3" line to the text file as recommended.
Then I installed the AC3 filter from the SourceForge page suggested on the DirectShow Filter page.
Now, the dMC File Selector correctly recognizes that ".ac3" is a valid extension for dMC. However, when I right click on a ".ac3" file, the Convert To command does not appear in the context menu.
I'm assuming this is a bug. Note that when I run dMC Configuration, ".ac3" shows as a valid Installed Decoder. Here's the corresponding section of my configuration:
