Problems converted Mp3pro to regular Mp3 file

I recently installed the fully registered version of dbpoweramp with the powerpack. I have a large number of files encolded with variable bit mp3pro. I am trying to convert them to a regular mp3 file so they can be used with more portable players. However, when I start the process of selecting files to convert in "file select", I get the error message "access violation at address 00463033 in module 'DMCFileselector.exe.' Write of address 0011FC10". Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Problems converted Mp3pro to regular Mp3 file

First, can you convert the mp3PRO files individually?
Did you install the mp3PRO dMC decoding codec AND the Thompson demo mp3PRO player?

Next, we'll see if the problem is the program itself.
Did you install the programs as an administrator? What OS are you using? Are you running the program as a power user, limited user, or an administrator?

Try doing a full uninstall as outlined here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=6828
Then reinstall everything one at a time.
