Are you using an unregistered version of dMC and has your trial period expired? You can check this by launching the dMC Configuration program.

Otherwise it may be a problem either with the format (bitrate, frequency, etc.) of the source file or the options you have specified for the mp3 that you want to create. Can you tell us what format the source file(s) are in?

        Two things:
        1) Enable viewing file extensions: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=5361 - this will tell you what it might be - though you cannot rely 100% on that, as it can be changed manually.

        2) In Windows Explorer hover over the source file and see what the pop-up information says - this will work if you enabled the Windows Shell Integration fields from dMC Configuration . That's one fo the programs that got installed with dMC , find it in Start > Programs > dBpowerAMP Music Converter > Configuration , assuming you installed correctly.

You should, it had improvements if your audio was in a format that wouldn't normally convert to mp3.

Download the latest version from the Products tab above and install on top of the one you have, without uninstalling first, to preserve registered status.

It still says what? v 10.1 or v 11.5 unregistered?

Are you signed in as admin? Did you install to the same exact location as where you had installed the original one?
