I can't get past the install fields the desktop icon only lets me run then i have to finish every time it's repeating over and over again

Did you install the program when you were logged in as Administrator? Have you installed any dBpowerAMP products before? Does it give you an error? When does it lock up?

I am not an Administrator, when i go to open it from my desktop it asks me if I want to run it or save it, and its stuck on some sort of loop or something i have had the older version for a long time now and I purchased the fully loaded version yesterday 12 28 05 now I cant start this newer version from my desktop icon now after I went through everything I saved my confirmation email and everything

You have to be logged into an account with adminstrator rights in order to install any dBpowerAMP Program

Are you sure that you downloaded the registered executable? The message you refer to implies to me that you have not in fact downloaded it. What happens if you select to SAVE the file somewhere other than the desktop?

I have not downloaded this correctly I believe and already paid for it also. The old version I guess is still ctive I tthought I removed it but I can't seem to do this. I received my order # through the email receipt but the register page isn't recognizing it. I saved it in my my saved mail folder.

This has been the most frusterating thing I've evr installed in my computer. I want to forget about the whole thing and get my money back if it was taken out of my credit card and try another converting program this is not a good way to have tech support especially when I work 75 hrs. a week and don't really have time for alll this typing I need to talk with someone not play mail tag.

with your reg details etc... and ask for a refund.

its unfortunate you see this as mail tag as the reality is you needed to supply more information which you failed to do in your first post. it is in actual fact you wasting our time here by us having to continue to ask questions to find out what the problem is with your install.

so it is the good people here who is taking time holding your hand to help you install something that is really simple. but like you said it is probably better that you ask for a refund so we don't all waste each others time.

You have to be logged in as administrator to install and run the dBpowerAMp program(s). For some, being signed on as a power user is enough. But never a regular user.

Did you not save your original installation file? If so you dont' nee to redownlaod it. Only make sure you install it properly - signed in as administrator.

Too many attempts at downloading will result in a block, which is what you may have experienced. Now you have to wait until the registration data gets into the database after which you can be issued a manual link.

You have to check the forum regularly after you post or else you won't know when you got a reply.
