I have recently gotten a new cell phone thinking I could just pull the music into the SD. It turns out it is protected.. and I am guessing that it only takes .aac files to play mp3's on my phone. THerefore, I need a converter to make .mp3 to .aac
I need a .mp3 --> .aac

Re: I need a .mp3 --> .aac
Well, there are technically to types of AAC files:
Raw AAC files, not played by much of anything
mp4 files in an AAC container, used by most players especially iPods.
So, you'll need to do some tests. All below-mentioned codecs are here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mp4.htm
First, there is a raw AAC converter. Try this first.
Second, download the mp4 converter and the MP4 --> AAC converter at the bottom of the above page. Convert your mp3 to mp4 and then the mp4 to an AAC container.
