Calling all technostuds! Newyorkie could use your help.

Guys can you help. I have recently installed the poweramp converter and successfully converted FLACs to wavs and actually made playable CDs. For me that is amazing. Lo and behold today I go through the same exact process and I get:

Error message Getpopupinfo.exe has encountered a problem etc
    and
The codec required to decompress the file can not be opened.

What Happened!? I've seen the topic mentioned in previous posts, but it seemed like it NEVER worked for people. Mine just stopped working.

    What can I do?

    Thanks very very much

What version of dMC are you using? (Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration)
What are the particulars of your FLAC files, as in bits, channels, frequency?
What are the output setting for your WAV files?

Next one who calls me that gets banned :p

        ------------------------------------

Did you happen to hover over an .fla file which is a Flash file instead of an actual Flac file?
