Can't convert flac to mp3

I used dbAMP Converter on my old pc. Loved it. New machine now. I can convert Shn to Flac but not flac to mp3.

"The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Converted Music\06 19830509 Leave Me Alone.mp3' could not be opened."

What are the properties of the flac file you want to convert and the settings you have set for the resulting mp3?

Have you tried a test conversion of the flac file? Can you convert the flac to wav? This will prove that dMC can convert the flac file and will indicate that there is some problem with the settings you have set for the resulting mp3.

Do you have either a registered version of the PowerPack or an unexpired trial? With dMC r11 and above, you are required to have a non-expired version of the PowerPack to convert to mp3.
