I am not able to convert anything.

I have WAV files on a CD - written as files.

I want to make a music CD with these files.

What version of dMC are you using?
Are you trying to use Audio CD Input or dMC itself? What format are you trying to convert to?
What OS are you using? If its Win2000/XP, did you install dMC as an administrator? Are you running it as an administrator?
Can you do a "Test Conversion (no write)" on these WAV files?
What is the details of this file? Bits (16, 24, 32), Frequency (44.1KHz, 48KHz), channels (2, 5+)? Right-click on one WAV file, go to properties, click the Summary tab then click Advanced. All of the information should be at the bottom.

Assuming that these are what you say they are, wave files burned as data on a disk, why not simply copy the files to your hard drive or access them straight from CD to the program you are using for burning?
Since the files are already in wave format, your burner program should be able to convert these to standard cd as is.
There may be many good reasons for not douing this or perhaps you have tried this and it hasn't worked. In that case, details as to what you tried, what happened, what program you are using for burning.
