Recording Sound Played Through Sound Card

    I'm stumped on this one.

I've tried to record what's being played on my computer to an MP3 file, but I can't seem to get it 'connected' to dBpowerAMP Auxiliary Input. What I'm trying to record is a wmv file's audio directly into mp3, but I don't know how to get it identified by the dBpowerAMP's Auxiliary input.

Click Options then then source to select the recording source.

You normally don't need to use dMC Auxiliary Input to take the audio from a wmv that resides on your own pc, and convert it to mp3. dMC should be able to do this directly. You need to install the Windows media codecs - and of course have a registered version of dMC (for the mp3 license) or an unexpired trial version.

Hi, I know this is an old question, but I'd like to post information for your reference. If you are using Windows, there are many doable ways for you to record sound from PC. You could use an audio recorder to record wmv file as mp3 file directly.

Hope my answer could help you.
