Accuraterip off, but still started

When a CD is inserted, even though I have accuraterip off, it still starts and says it is communicating its database. Why? The only database that the ripper should be communicating with is the freedb database.

Any thoughts as to what is going on?

Thanks, it is indeed a bug, as the same thing is happening to me.
