Re: m4p conversion
Not really.
As you know, m4p files have DRM measures applied to them that greatly limit the ability to use these files outside of iTunes and DRM authorized players (most especially the iPod).
You can play these files on your computer and those songs can be recorded off of your sound card as they play use dBpowerAMP's Auxilary Input feature (part of the dBpowerAMP Music Converter package-it is part of the free part of dMC, if that is any issue for you).
The other thing iTunes will let you do is to burn these tracks to CD. You could then use dMC to rip the tunes from the CD.
In the past, users have been able to use certain programs (most notably Hymn and now jHymn) to unlock and convert these files to m4a format that can then be converted by dMC to a supported format of your choice. This may yet be an option unless you have upgraded to iTunes 6. It is possible that, at some point in the future, jHymn or some one else will find counter measures for the DRM measures in iTunes 6. (At that point, Apple will again update iTunes and a whole new round will begin).
Best wishes,
Bill
