Re: my dbpowermp isnt converting to .ram

First, try to test convert one or more of the mp3 files that would not convert to .rm (note that the RealAudio encoder for Music Converter encodes to .rm rather than .ram). You do a test conversion the same way as a conversion to RealAudio except that where you choose Real Audio as your ooutput format choose "Test Conversion (No Write)". This will not result in an output file but it will confirm that either dMC can read the mp3 file (it will complete the test conversion) or that it will not (you will probably receive an error message).

Assuming that your mp3 files test convert ok, then it is likely that the problem lies with the RealAudio encoder. This is known to be finicky in XP with SP2. (See for example: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=6183 and also: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=8231 ).

BTW- We do not send replies to personal e-mail addresses.

      Best wishes,
      Bill
