Re: Can't Install Codec
Do you have dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) installed? Is it installed to the default location?
Do you have dBpowerAMP Audio Player (dAP) installed to the default location?
If not, it could be that they are misplaced with reference to one another which will mess up dAP. If dMC is not installed to the default location you need to be careful to assure that your codecs get installed to the right location.
You can check this out through dMC Configuration (Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>Configuration>dBpowerAMP Music Converter Configuration) to make sure that it shows that you have dAP installed and it will confirm codec installation also.
If these are protected files then I don't believe that dAP can play them.
On the off-chance that I am wrong, one other thing you might try is the beta m4a codec for iTunes 5 from the Beta section of the forum here:
