    Atrac3 format...

    Hi!
I have small problem with atrac-format music. I want to make
atrac in format like that below. It's not normal atrac -
it can be played in winamp when i change name to wav, but all
    programs tells me that's atrac.

Atrac files from SonicStage (from Sony's' site) are different, even with same bitrate...(can't play in winamp)

Do you have idea what program shall i use? and what codec?

Perhaps this thread is talking about the same thing you are asking about:
    http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=5330 ?

Your link did not work when I tried, "File not found".

    Best wishes,
    Bill

my file looks like REAL atrac.wave....
Not played by cheating winamp to play it whatever extension is... And unfortunetlly , my device uses only that atrac.wave.... Any idea how to convert some files into that format?

          Re: Atrac3 format...

What type of device is this?

File downloads but does not play in dAP, WinAmp, WMP.
File extension is .wav but file properties indicate that the file is 44.1 kHz, 2 channel, 0 (!) bit, ACM Codec not installed "Sony Atrac 3".

I'll keep researching. You don't think that the first post in the thread I referenced above would achieve what you are trying to do? Can you create such a file with Sonic Stage?

no, as i said no way to make it by sonic stage...

i want to use them on PSP - but with gta:LCS. "R* custom track" made that one in the attachment.

File downloads but does not play in dAP, WinAmp, WMP
try with that program (i don't know what is it's name in english version of windows ) Next funny think - look - there's no music visualization, but it can play it...

if it could help you a bit(properties from that ^ program):
