If I install the newest version of the Converter , will I have to reinstall all the codecs as well?

If your current version was not the registered one, installing the new one will result in your not being able to use the mp3 encoder until you purchase the resgistered version.

Otherwise just install on top of what you have to preserve the registered status.

Codecs don't need reinstalling unless new versions are available and you need them.
