When I convert mp4a files to mp3, the created files are only about 4k and don't play. Anyone know what the problem could be? I downloaded the required codecs, but nothing seems to work.

Are they protected (encrypted) files? If so dMC cannot convert them.
Also do you have a registered version of dMC or unexpired trial version? You need that in order to convert anything to mp3.Last edited by ChristinaS; October 11, 2005, 05:00 PM. -

Chances are they are protected files. Please refer to this forum section: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/forumdisplay.php?f=52
And are their extensions .mp4 or .m4a ?Comment

Can you play your mp4/m4a files in a player besides iTunes, like Winamp? If you can't, then the files weren't unprotected properly. If iTunes won't even play the song, then the file is corrupt.Comment
