    AccurateRip

A couple of questions regarding AccurateRip:

The last song on all CD's I rip comes out "Rip Not Accurate". I've listened to the tracks and they sound fine. From what I can tell from reading the forums, this can happen with some CD burners. Is this correct?

When I rip tracks from a CD they all have the same confidence level (say 15 or 3) whether or not the rip is accurate or inaccurate (always the last track). When the confidence level is high for an inaccurate rip, does that mean that my cd is different from that many other CDs?

    Thanks for the clarifications.

    Re: AccurateRip

If the last song is always innacurate, then apparently that CD drive doesn't support reading into the lead-out.
The confidence level shows how many other duplicate entries for that track are in the database. Normally, any confidence above 3 is satisfactory for you to know that the database entry is correct. Normally, your CD is only a different pressing if 4 or more tracks are different, I believe.

Thanks. I guess the one thing I'm still confused on is confidence level re: an inaccurate rip. As I understand it, for an accurate rip a confidence level of 15 means there are 15 other entries in the database that are the same. However what does a confidence level of 15 mean for an inaccurate rip? That there are 15 that are different? That's what I'm getting, high confidence levels for inaccurate rips.

A confidence level of 15 means there are 15 rips that do NOT match your rip.

That shouldn't affect AccurateRip as it is calculated without those areas. What is the CD drive and what is it's offset?
