Please Help with converting

I have a Audio Book Mp3 file that i downloaded.The file when converted to a wave file turns out to be 1.96 GB. I want to learn how to split this file up into three parts so i can put it on 3 different cd's as a wave file so it can be played in a cd player in the car.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on what software i should use to do this.
Can this be done????

If you install the Power Pack, you will get 'DSP Effects' one of those is 'Sound Grabber' that can copy the first half hour, or 2nd half hour.
