Is this a bug of WMA9.1 Codec ?

Is there anything wrong with this? ?

I accidently found that the filesize of converted-wma file with wma9.1 codec (VBR , without 2-pass ) is larger than wma9 codec .

You don't have the same bitrate in both of them. The higher the bitrate, the larger the file.

It looks like wma9 and wm9.1 codecs don't interpret the 98 setting the same way, and wma9.1 results in a higher quality file - meaning also larger due to a higher bitrate.

Thanks for your reply, it's clear now. but i got another question.

Is it possible to have the settings like this : "VBR Qulity 94, 44kHz, stereo VBR"
in the codec wma9.1 of dmc ?

Coz, the filesize of "VBR quality 98"of v9.1 is too large to me,
and the Bitrate of "VBR quality 90"of v9.1 is not as good as the "VBR quality 98" of v9.

Is it possible to have more selection in the VBR Setting ?

Probably not available from the codec itself. Spoon doesn't invent the settings and how they are used I think, MS does.
