bug report (non ascii character problem in tag info)

If a file path contains non-ASCII characters, tag info appears wrong in a balloon. They appears using different non-ASCII characters. Or it looks like trying to show a broken non-ASCII characters string. However, once I move those files to C:\ or see them from iTunes, all tag info appears correct. So, tag info itself is collect. Just appearing wrong.

This balloon tag info starts appearing once I installed dMC, so I guess dMC has this bug.

I have noticed this also (it is strange), it will be fixed in the next few weeks / months as music converter becomes fully unicode compatible.

maybe there are some wrong initial values in the characters-related-function of the Ballon...

Not very sure, just a guess.
Maybe , if some of those values be set to FALSE, the system will handle the ansi/unicode characater automatically(will change them to unicode if need).
if those value in TRUE, the system will let u to handle it. (so, u have to change those characters to unicode manually.)

Please forgive me if i am wrong. :D

Something else, the values displayed look like raw UTF-8, it is quite odd, but will be fixed for the next beta.
