prob in time calculating when wma->mp3

I'm using dMC 9a, and installed wma encoder and ogg encoder. set my configuration just as-is.
And I tried to convert my wma files to mp3 becuz my mp3 player only supports mp3 format(ipod, support ogg!).
Well, convert progress was easy (but long and time-consumming) and ok. But when I tried to test them in winamp playlist, they just come out to be longer or shorter then it was. And i wonder why. And the time gets corrected when I play those files. I'm using winamp 2.80 and input plugin is MAD mp3 plugin.
I saw their mpeg information on winamp id3 window and it was not right.

anyone have useful tip or information for this?
if I couldn't solve this problem, I should change my converter........

dMC Configuration >> Set it to 'Never Create V2' id tags.

Winamp is a little backwards when it comes to supporting the latest ID3v2 standard...

Also bear in mind that dMC and/or the Lame Encoder sometimes forgets to write an Xing tag when creating a VBR or ABR file (I don't know which is the culprit), which may result in inaccurate track lengths (the player assumes the bitrate of the first frame is used throughout the file).

I agree with you about Ogg support for the iPod
