one second skip

Ok I'm new here and I have a question. I a brought numerous Mp3 rippers and the all have the 1 second space when musice is ripped. Mind you that the 1 second skip is not on the original CD. I am ripping Mixtapes to MP3 toi put on my MP3 palyer in the car. I am using a sansung 1 flash drive player in purchasing this product will the 1 second skip continue to happen.

Ripping to seperate mp3 files or one big one?

One big file with different tracks with no pauses.

If going to seperate mp3 files, then the delay is caused by the mp3 player.
