    what is m3u, and how do i convert it to mp3. or can it be??

      An m3u file is a type of playlist file, originally developed for mp3 playlists, but it may reference files from other formats as well.
      No, you cannot convert m3u files. They do not have audio, they are simply lists of audio files.
