    Latest Lame Codec

    Hi,

I saw LAME was updated to version 3.90 and above already; where can I download this latest version? I can't find it anywhere on the dbpoweramp.com website or forum...

    Thanks,
    Wim

        Re: Latest Lame Codec

        Spoon,

How do we know that we have the latest Lame version? Is there anyway to update our DB converter?

The big problem is with my iPod, for some reason it has taken on a rather annoying habit of these little ticks/ sound glitches. I have read many posts stating that the problem is with VBR, and that the iPod can't handle them properly. If true, is that something that has been corrected in the latest DB converter download? Or in the latest Lame support?

See here for how to update: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=4028
If the iPod cannot handle VBR, then just use CBR, mabye?
