Using the Audio CD Input screen

Does it make a difference in the quality of the recording if I just click on the Music Converter icon to rip tracks off a CD versus actually going to the Audio CD Input screen to do it?

The difference it will make is that you won't be able to access artist, album and track information to enable you to automatically add these to your id tags and file names. You will end up having to do this by hand.
This is a big limitation. But the overall quality should still be the same.
