FLAC to OGG conversion misplaced tags

I'm using dMC 11, which I just installed today, just converted several FLAC files to OGG, choosing to preserve tags, and the resulting OGG files had the artist name as the album title. I didn't notice until after I had deleted the original FLAC songs (not just recycled -- deleted for good), but since I have them on my Rio Karma, I can confirm that it truly once had the correct album name.

That is odd.
I have tried converting Flac to Ogg using each of the 3 Ogg codecs and I haven't seen this problem. You might want to try using the latest beta version of dMC available here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=6740

You may be able to correct your tag information for your new Ogg files by downloading, installing and using the Tag From File Name utility codec from Codec Central (this does require that you have the Power Pack).
