What about XSPF ?

Hi,
I saw that the files selector accept like "music files and playlist" , the m3u format but don't allow the (futur ?) xml standard XSPF which seems to me very interesting . What do you think about integrate it ? is it planned ?

Playlist expansion is on the cards in the future, a frame work has to first be designed and implemented.

XSPF seems to be very similar to SMIL, so it's a complex type of playlist, geared to presenting media content in a web context.
