issues converting from mp3 to mp3 pro

i downloaded and installed thompson mp3pro encoder
the problem im having is i cant get the encoded files to rename to proper name or id3 tag to go over to new file
it will encode file ~dmcin.mp3 but it doesnt rename the file
or carry over tag. then on next mp3 it proceeds to overwrite
~dmcin.mp3 file
please help

I have seen this happen but don't know the reason, something is holding the file open and dbpoweramp cannot rename it (or add tags).

the thompson encoder doesn't close maybee that has something to do with it?

Yes they have proabbly changed the program.
