New user. I was wondering if anyone has worked on taking an Audio Tape output from a "high-speed" dubbing deck and run that into the line-in. Is there a way of post processing the file so that it sounds reasonable? (A couple of functions in Audacity almost look like they will work).
I have hundreds of one tapes (voice mostly) that need to be archived, so I would like to use a high-speed tape deck to speed things up, but the resulting file would need to be stretched in length by 2 to 4 times, and the pitch reduced by a corresponding amount.
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated! :D
