I thought I knew quite a bit about LAME but apparently not as much as I thought. DBPoweramp has a "preset" for CBR? What differs from the preset vs. just selecting CBR and the appropriate bit rate? I completely understand the VBR presets such as APS and APE (1000 of hours of tuning and testing to determine appropriate settings, etc.) but unsure why one would use the "preset" CBR vs. just selecting CBR and selecting a bit rate. I'm sure there is a very good reason though. Could someone enlighten me?
