Do I need to get another portion of this program to convert an album wrap MP3 back into the original audio files?

Try using this program: http://www.infamus.com/albumwrap/extractor.html to extract individual files. -
Re: undoing an album wrap MP3
Thanks....I have tried the software you just mentioned as well as Alba Extractor and they both say that the files are not valid album wraps (even though it says so in the filename before the extension). The files will play as one long song but I'd like it broken up back into the individual tracks.
It says "power pack trial period expired" in the IDtag area when you click on the properties of the file.
Can anyone help me with this? It would be much appreciated.
I own all 3 of the albums I'm trying to extract on vinyl (so I think that should be sufficient to cover any copyright issues, huh?)Comment

Re: undoing an album wrap MP3
Powerpack expired means exactly that. You need to purchase the registered version of dMC now in order to be allowed to encode to mp3, which, due to pattent regulation is no longer free. The other useful powerpack features as well are available in a properly registered version, which you don't have otherwise.
However in your case you only want to decode from mp3, so it's not imperative yet, unless you want to encode to mp3 still. You can decode to wav or wma.
Maybe your so-called albumwrap is nothing more than a very large but regular mp3 file.
Do you get any further information on the mp3 when you hover over it? like duration or bitrate? These should not be affected by wheteher or not your powerpack is expired.Comment
