    dMC won't convert m4a to mp3

I use m4p2mp4.exe to convert m4p tp m4a (this seems to work ok) then I try to use dMC to convert m4a to mp3.

When I do this dMC only creates a 2k file. I have registered the CODEC.

Any ideas. Read all I could find, perhaps I missed some salient point.

Can you play your mp4/m4a file that comes from the conversion? It sounds like the protection was stripped out incorrectly. If you are trying to unprotect your files, look in the "DMC and Copy Protection" section of this forum for the program JHymn or similar programs.

What player supports m4a? Nothing I have works for this.

BTW, can't use jhymn, conflict with JRE and another program. Hymn won't work, gives a missing key error.

        Hymn no longer works.
Winamp supports m4a, IIRC, dAP supports it.
What do you mean a conflict with JRE and another program? Mabye try iOpener at the same site as JHymn?
