Ok, so I paid $14.. - Registration problems

I paid so that I can use MP3 Encoder/converter, I had hoped to use it tonight but thanks to problems registering I won't be able to. I was asked to enter my recipt number, I did.. then I was asked to enter the "string".. I did. I was told my entry was incorrect, I tried again and again until I was told I had failed too many times. This makes me angry :vmad: I would certainly appretiate help with this. There's nothing I hate more than wasted money. thanks

I don't know in which way you messed up but it looks like you did.

Please see this and follow through to the other posts where it refers: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/announce...nouncementid=8

Did you ever get the email with the user name and password you were supposed to use subsequently in order to download the package?

I did get the email.. I tried it over again and now it's working, but it did say something about a 30 day trial. I hope I didn't download another 30 day trial, is that possible? It was a link in the email I recieved that led me to the download. This time I didn't have to enter anything, which worries me.

The link in the e-mail points to a registered download. Upon installing this, you should see "Registered" as your status. If you do not, try rebooting. If it still doesn't show as registered, uninstall dMC and then install the registered version.

I don't recall seeing "registered" anywhere but I very well could have missed it. Where would I find it reading that at without re-downloading it?

Check your dMC Configuration window (Start>All Programs>dBpowerAMP Music Converter>Configuration>dMC Configuration). By the top portion (Version Information), the 2nd line should read Power Pack & MP3 License and by this title, if you have the registered version installed, it should read: "[Registered Yes]."

            Best wishes,
            Bill

              Thanks, here's what I got.

              DBpoweramp music converter Release 11
Powerpack and mp3 license (Registered: Yes)
              DB Poweramp Audio Player
DB Poweramp Cd Writer Not Installed
              Sveta Portable Audio Not Installed

Does that look right to you? I imagine the CD writer is a seperate program with an additional cost right? I'm just interested in converting audio into mp3's mainly.

Your registered version is installed correctly. Can you now convert to mp3?
And yes, the CD Writer and Sveta are separate programs that are an additional cost.
