Anyone got any neat suggestions/methods for handling duplicate tracks in a music collection .. when I say duplicate I mean 'same music from different CDs'.
Ideally I want some way to flag it so that it doesn't get randomly played (which I guess I could manage using a genre called 'duplicate?) and so that it can be omitted from batch conversions to 'portable player format' (I tend to convert everything in advance - doing it 'on the fly' is more like 'on the crawl' IME).
For extra brownie points, some software to actualyl spot duplicates automatically (same artist, track name, length +/- a few seconds of silence, and really amazingly ideally 'same music content').
