    Restore old quality

Back again - aith a new problem
I converted my mp3s to mp3PROs but the quality (64 kbps) is too low and the sound is terrible. The quality before converting was 128 kbps! I tried to vonvert it back into the old quality and to mp3. But the sound was navere like befor.
Is there a possibilty to restore the old quality?

    Re: Restore old quality

If you deleted the tracks you were converting (which you can go back too) then the answer is a simple no.

Simply converting from mp3 pro 64 k/bits to mp3 128 k/bits is going to degrade quality even further.

No, once you convert to a lossy format, you can never regain the quality lost.

Are you playing them with an mp3PRO player? If not, you are only hearing the frequencies below 8000Hz.

There isn't one. However, to convert to higher-bitrate mp3PRO, you can use MusicMatch to do so. Other programs also convert to mp3PRO, but I don't know which ones.
Out of curiosity, why are you using mp3PRO?
