    I received from yousendit.com but "I" can't send it???

O.K. i got a 54 minute documentary that someone sent me from yousendit.com--o.k. i downloaded the divx 521 from here and everything came out fine thanks to the good people here.

Now, i have other music ect. from yousendit.com and it is stored in my music files and when i right click i see the sign for convert/ tag ect.. and i am able to send them with yousendit.com.
BUT--this video does not show that when i right click--it's properties are-- bit rate 117kbps---audio format mpeg layer-3---data rate 88 kbps---video compression divx codec. i remember seeing somewhere that it was AVI. BUT forgot how i got that info.

How can i change this file so that when i right click it, it will show the convert to mp3 choice like the other files do since i downloaded the divx 521 from here--I did download some other codecs but still same problem???? maybe i just need to downlaod the right one????

I think with DivX and Xvid files, there is a way using VirtualDub. http://www.sourceforge.net

What's the extension for that file? This is where you must have seen .avi .

Virtualdub may work to isolate the audio.

Also the free version from http://www.riverpast.com/ can be sued to extract audio from some kinds of videos.

Finally, if you can play it, you can record the audio through dMC Auxilairy Input.
